Hello.
Today drawing123.com will guide you how to easily draw a barn with simple steps.

Let’s get started!
Step 1 : Draw a rectangle. This will form the main body of the barn.

Step 2 : Add the roof. Draw two angled lines starting from the top corners of the rectangle, meeting in the center to form a pointed roof. Then, draw a smaller, similar shape on top to create an overhang or a slightly different roof style.

Step 3 : Draw the barn doors. In the center of the front of the rectangle, draw two vertical lines to divide the space into two door openings. Then, draw a horizontal line across the top of these openings to define the top of the doors.

Step 4 : Add details to the doors. Draw an ‘X’ shape on each of the door panels. These lines will typically go from one corner of the door panel to the opposite corner.

Step 5 : Draw a window opening. Above the doors, in the upper part of the barn, draw a rectangle. This outlines where the window will be.

Step 6 : Add window panes. Inside the rectangular window opening, draw a horizontal line and a vertical line that intersect in the center, dividing the window into four smaller panes.

Step 7 : Add color. Color the main body of the barn red. Color the roof brown. Color the door details and window panes a darker shade, such as dark brown or black. You can also color the trim around the doors and window a lighter color, like white.

Step 1 : Start with the top of the cupola. Draw a small “V” shape with a small flat line underneath, creating a small pointed roof.

Step 2 : Draw the cupola base. From the sides of the small roof, draw two vertical lines going down.

Step 3 : Draw the main roof. From the bottom of the cupola, draw two long angled lines extending down and outward, with a slight curve in the middle. This forms the distinctive gambrel roof shape.

Step 4 : Complete the barn structure. Connect the two ends of the gambrel roof with two vertical lines and a horizontal line at the bottom, forming the main body of the barn.

Step 5 : Draw the doors. Draw a horizontal line a little below the middle of the barn. Then draw three vertical lines underneath it, dividing the space into two doors.

Step 6 : Add details to the doors. On each door panel, draw a horizontal line and two “X” shapes to create a more detailed barn door design.

Step 7 : Draw side windows. On the barn walls, on either side of the doors, draw two small squares to create windows.

Step 8 : Add a window and details to the upper part. Above the doors, draw a rectangular window. Inside this window, draw a cross shape to create four window panes.

Step 9 : Add color. Color the main barn red. Color the door details and roof trim a light grey or brown. Color the windows and doors with a darker brown.

Step 1 : Start by drawing the base of the barn. Draw a horizontal line for the bottom and two angled vertical lines extending upward from the ends. This forms a trapezoid-like shape that will be the main body.

Step 2 : Draw the gambrel roof. On top of the trapezoid, draw two lines on each side that angle upwards to meet in the middle, creating a classic barn roof. The top part of the roof should be a flat, horizontal line.

Step 3 : Add the door. Draw a rectangle near the bottom center of the barn, then draw a smaller rectangle inside to create a thick frame for the door.

Step 4 : Draw the window. Above the door, draw a small rectangle, and then a smaller rectangle inside it, to create a framed window.

Step 5 : Draw the siding. Add multiple vertical lines down the face of the barn, from the roofline to the base, to show the wooden siding or planking.

Step 6 : Add a weathervane. On the very top of the roof, draw a rooster-shaped weathervane. Draw a base for the weathervane, and then a simple rooster shape with a pointed arrow below it.

Step 7 : Draw some foliage. On the ground to the side of the barn, draw a series of jagged or wavy lines to represent a bush or shrub.

Step 8 : Add color. Color the body of the barn red. Color the roof and door a shade of brown. The weathervane can be yellow. Color the weathervane base, window frame, and door frame a lighter color, like white or light gray. Finally, color the bush green.

Step 1 : Start by drawing the top of the gambrel roof. Draw a pointed shape with a horizontal line across the top, and two angled lines extending downward on each side.

Step 2 : Add the weathervane. On the peak of the roof, draw a simple rooster shape with a small line connecting it to the roof.

Step 3 : Draw the main body of the barn. From the ends of the roof you drew, draw two angled vertical lines extending downward, and connect them with a straight horizontal line at the bottom.

Step 4 : Add a horizontal plank. About halfway down the barn, draw two parallel horizontal lines to create a plank or trim piece across the front of the barn.

Step 5 : Draw the door. In the bottom center of the barn, draw a rectangle for the door opening.

Step 6 : Add door details. Inside the door you just drew, draw a large “X” to create the classic barn door bracing.

Step 7 : Draw a window outline. In the upper part of the barn, draw a pentagon shape (a five-sided figure) to serve as the outline for the window.

Step 8 : Draw the window frame. Inside the pentagon shape, draw a smaller, rectangular shape to be the window itself.

Step 9 : Add color. Color the main body of the barn a bright red. The doors and window can be a dark blue or navy. The weathervane can be gray. The roof, the trim lines, and the window frame can be a light, pale orange or tan color.

Step 1 : Start by drawing a large rectangle for the main body of the barn.

Step 2 : Draw the roof. On top of the rectangle, draw a pointed roof with two angled lines on each side. The top two lines should be steeper, and the bottom two lines should be at a gentler angle, creating a gambrel roof shape.

Step 3 : Draw the doors. In the center of the rectangle, draw two vertical rectangles side-by-side to represent the large barn doors.

Step 4 : Add door details. On each of the door panels, draw two diagonal lines to form a large “X” shape.

Step 5 : Draw the windows. On the upper part of the barn, above the doors, draw two small squares to create window openings.

Step 6 : Add window panes. Inside each of the window squares, draw a horizontal line and a vertical line to create four window panes.

Step 7 : Draw the loft window. In the very top, triangular part of the barn, draw a triangle with a horizontal line across the base to create a window for the loft or attic.

Step 8: Add color. Color the main body of the barn a deep red. The roofs, windows, and door frames can be gray or white. The door panels can be brown, and the “X” shapes can be white.

Step 1 : Start by drawing the roof. Draw a pointed shape with a slightly flattened top and two angled lines on each side. The bottom of the roof should be slightly flared out.

Step 2 : Draw the main body of the barn. Connect the ends of the roof with two vertical, angled lines and a horizontal line at the bottom, creating a slightly trapezoidal shape.

Step 3 : Add the door. In the center of the bottom part of the barn, draw a large rectangle with a thick frame to represent the door.

Step 4 : Draw the door details. Inside the door frame, draw two diagonal lines that cross each other, forming a large “X” shape. Then, draw a vertical line down the middle of the door to divide it into two panels.

Step 5 : Add a window. In the upper part of the barn, above the door, draw a square to represent the window.

Step 6 : Draw details in the window. Inside the square window, draw a curved, wavy “M” or “W” shape. This could represent a hay loft opening or a stylized interior.

Step 7 : Add the siding. Draw a series of vertical lines down the face of the barn, from the roofline to the bottom, to indicate the wooden siding.

Step 8 : Color the barn. Color the main body of the barn a warm reddish-orange. The roof and window frame can be a light gray. Color the window opening black or dark gray, and the interior details can be a yellowish color. The door can be a grayish-white.

Hopefully, this drawing tutorial on Barn will help you easily create a nice drawing.
