Today, drawing123.com will guide you how to easily draw a carpet with simple steps.
Let’s get started!

Step 1: Draw the Main Body Base
Draw a four-sided shape with slightly curved, wavy edges in a perspective view to form the main outline of the floating carpet.

Step 2: Add Tassels to the Corners
At each of the four corners, add a decorative tassel consisting of a small round band and a flared, wavy bundle of fringe with internal texture lines.

Step 3: Draw the Outer Border
Add an inner four-sided border inside the carpet, following the curved contour of the outer edges.

Step 4: Add the Inner Framing Line
Draw another smaller concentric boundary line inside the border to create a second layer frame.

Step 5: Add Corner Decorative Waves
In the four inner corners of the carpet, draw curved, wavy lines to form decorative corner accents.

Step 6: Draw the Center Scalloped Pattern
Draw a large diamond-like shape with scalloped, zig-zag edges right in the center section of the carpet.

Step 7: Add Center Geometric Shapes
Inside the central scalloped emblem, draw two nested rectangular diamond shapes to complete the line work.

Step 8: Color the Carpet
Color the base carpet in bright blue, the inner border frame in cyan, and the corner accents in vivid green. Fill the center scalloped medallion with cyan, surrounding a red outer diamond and a blue inner rectangle. Finally, shade all four corner tassels in bright yellow.

Step 1: Draw the Outer Outline
Draw a wavy, quadrilateral shape with rounded corners to create the main outer outline of a floating magic carpet.

Step 2: Draw the Inner Border Line
Draw a second wavy quadrilateral shape inside the first one, following its contours closely to form the outer border frame.

Step 3: Draw the Horizontal Division Lines
Draw two wavy horizontal lines across the carpet, connecting the left inner border to the right inner border.

Step 4: Complete the Center Rectangular Frame
Draw two vertical curved lines on the left and right sides between the horizontal lines to form an inner central rectangular area.

Step 5: Add Diamond Patterns on the Top Border
Draw a row of five small diamond shapes evenly spaced along the top horizontal border section.

Step 6: Add Diamond Patterns on the Bottom Border
Draw another row of five small diamond shapes evenly spaced along the bottom horizontal border section.

Step 7: Color the Carpet
Color the outermost border orange. Fill the inner border section containing the diamonds with bright yellow, and color all ten diamond shapes red. Finally, shade the central rectangular area of the carpet with a light golden-beige color.

Step 1: Draw the Outer Base Shape
Draw a wavy, square-like shape with curved sides and soft corners to form the outer outline of a floating carpet.

Step 2: Draw the First Inner Border
Draw a second wavy square shape inside the first one, following its curves closely to create an outer border frame.

Step 3: Draw the Second Inner Border
Draw a third wavy square shape inside the second one to add a double-line border design around the carpet.

Step 4: Add Four Stars Near the Corners
Draw four five-pointed stars inside the main area of the carpet, placing one near each of the four corners.

Step 5: Draw the Central Decorative Frame
Draw a wavy, scalloped medallion outline in the center of the carpet.

Step 6: Add the Center Eight-Pointed Star
Draw an eight-pointed star inside the scalloped central medallion.

Step 7: Color the Carpet
Color the outer rim red, the inner border green, and the main background area a dark crimson red. Fill the central scalloped medallion with bright blue, and color all five-pointed stars as well as the center eight-pointed star in vibrant yellow.

Step 1: Draw the Outer Rectangle
Draw a vertical rectangle with slightly curved, outward-bulging edges to serve as the outer outline of the carpet.

Step 2: Draw the Inner Border Line
Draw a second, slightly smaller rectangle inside the first one, following the same curved contours to create a border frame.

Step 3: Draw the Double Center Diamond
Draw a large diamond shape right in the middle of the carpet, and add a smaller diamond inside it to form a double-lined center motif.

Step 4: Add Left Side Triangles
Draw two triangles on the left side of the center diamond: an inverted triangle at the top and an upright triangle at the bottom.

Step 5: Add Right Side Triangles
Draw two matching triangles on the right side of the center diamond: an inverted triangle at the top and an upright triangle at the bottom.

Step 6: Add Four Circles
Draw two small circles in the upper region above the geometric figures and two more small circles in the lower region below them.

Step 7: Add Decorative Squares
Draw small squares scattered around the open background spaces, placing them near the top, right, and bottom sections of the carpet.

Step 8: Color the Carpet Pattern
Color the outer border frame yellow-orange. Fill the inner main background with deep purple. Color the four triangles, the outer ring of the central diamond, and the four circles with bright yellow. Finally, shade the innermost diamond and all the small decorative squares in red.
