Today, drawing123.com will guide you how to easily draw a Christmas candle with simple steps.
Let’s get started!

Step 1: Draw the Holly Berry
Start by drawing a small circle in the center bottom of your drawing space. This will be the holly berry.

Step 2: Outline the Holly Leaves
Around the berry, draw the outlines of three holly leaves. The leaves have characteristic spiky, lobed edges and should slightly overlap the top of the berry.

Step 3: Add Details to the Leaves
Add the veins to the three leaves, giving them a central line and smaller lines branching out to the sides.

Step 4: Start the Candle’s Body
Draw two vertical, parallel lines extending upwards from behind the center holly leaf. These lines form the sides of the candle’s body.

Step 5: Define the Top of the Candle
Connect the tops of the two vertical lines with a horizontal oval (or curved line) to complete the cylindrical shape of the candle.

Step 6: Draw the Melted Wax
Draw a wavy line inside the candle, near the top, and let it drip down the sides of the candle’s body to represent melted wax.

Step 7: Add the Wick and Flame
Draw a small vertical line (the wick) sticking up from the center of the candle’s top. Then, draw a teardrop or curved shape above the wick for the flame.

Step 8: Color the Drawing
Color the holly leaves green, the holly berry red, the candle cream or yellow-white, and the flame yellow/orange.

Step 1: Draw the Holly Berries
Start by drawing three overlapping circles in the center bottom of your drawing area. These will be the holly berries.

Step 2: Outline the Holly Leaves
Draw the spiky, lobed outlines of two holly leaves on either side of the berries. They should frame the berries at the bottom.

Step 3: Add Details to the Leaves
Add the veins to the two leaves, giving them a central line and smaller lines branching out.

Step 4: Draw the Candle’s Body
Draw two vertical, parallel lines extending upwards from behind the holly leaves. Connect the bottom of these lines with a horizontal line to form a rectangular shape resting on the holly.

Step 5: Define the Top and Melted Wax
Draw a curved line across the top to close the candle shape. Then, add a wavy, dripping line below the top edge to represent melted wax running down the sides.

Step 6: Draw the Wick
Draw a small, curved vertical line (the wick) sticking up from the center of the candle’s top.

Step 7: Add the Flame
Draw a large, teardrop shape around the wick to create the outer outline of the flame. Inside, draw a slightly smaller, more defined teardrop shape for the inner part of the flame.

Step 8: Color the Drawing
Color the candle red (like an Advent candle) or white/cream, the holly leaves green, the berries red, the flame with yellow outer layer and a red or orange inner layer.

Step 1: Draw the Holly Berries
Begin by drawing four overlapping circles in a square-like cluster at the bottom center of your drawing space. These will form the holly berries.

Step 2: Outline the Lower Holly Leaves
Draw the characteristic spiky, lobed outlines of two holly leaves on either side of the berries, extending horizontally.

Step 3: Outline the Upper Holly Leaves
Add two more holly leaf outlines above the first pair, slightly overlapping the berries and the lower leaves.

Step 4: Add Veins to the Leaves
Draw the veins on all four holly leaves. Each leaf should have a central line with smaller lines branching out.

Step 5: Start the Candle’s Body
Draw two vertical, parallel lines extending upwards from behind the center of the holly leaves. These will be the sides of your candle.

Step 6: Define the Top of the Candle
Connect the tops of the two vertical lines with a horizontal oval to create the top surface of the cylindrical candle.

Step 7: Add the Candle’s Rim
Inside the oval you just drew for the top, draw a smaller, concentric oval. This represents the slightly recessed area where the wick burns and wax melts.

Step 8: Draw the Wick and Flame
Draw a small vertical line (the wick) sticking up from the center of the innermost oval. Then, draw a large, teardrop shape around the wick for the outer part of the flame, and a smaller teardrop shape inside for the inner flame.

Step 9: Color the Drawing
Color the candle cream or yellow-white, the holly leaves green, the berries red, the outer flame orange, and the inner flame yellow.

Step 1: Draw the Holly Berries
Start by drawing three overlapping circles in a small cluster at the bottom of your drawing area.

Step 2: Draw the Base/Holder
Draw an oval shape underneath the berries for the base/holder. On the left side, add a spiral or coiled shape to suggest a decorative scroll or part of the holder design.

Step 3: Outline the Holly Leaves
Draw the spiky, lobed outlines of three holly leaves rising up from behind the berries and the base.

Step 4: Start the Candle’s Body
Draw two vertical, parallel lines extending upwards from behind the outer two holly leaves.

Step 5: Define the Top and Melted Wax
Close the top of the candle with a curved line. Add a wavy, rounded edge and a curved drip to suggest melted wax running down the side of the candle.

Step 6: Draw the Wick
Draw a small, curved vertical line (the wick) sticking up from the center of the melted wax on top of the candle.

Step 7: Add the Flame
Draw a large, curved teardrop shape around the wick to create the flame.

Step 8: Color the Drawing
Color the leaves green, the berries red, the base/holder gray, the candle body cream/pale yellow, and the flame yellow/orange.

Step 1: Draw the Holly Berries
Start by drawing three overlapping circles in a small cluster at the bottom of your drawing area.

Step 2: Outline the First Holly Leaf
Draw the spiky, lobed outline of the first holly leaf extending horizontally from one side of the berry cluster. Include the central vein line.

Step 3: Outline the Second Holly Leaf
Draw the spiky, lobed outline of the second holly leaf extending from the other side of the berry cluster, also including the central vein line.

Step 4: Start the Candle’s Body
Draw two short, vertical lines extending upwards from behind the center of the holly leaves.

Step 5: Draw the Melted Wax
Draw a single, wavy, and rounded shape for the top of the candle and the heavy melted wax dripping down the sides, connecting the vertical lines.

Step 6: Add the Flame
Draw a small vertical line (the wick) sticking up from the center of the wax. Then, draw a teardrop shape with an inner spiral/loop for the flame.

Step 7: Draw the Glow Effect Circle
Draw a large circle centered behind the flame and the top of the candle. This represents the light/glow radiating from the flame.

Step 8: Add the Remaining Holly Outlines
Draw the outlines of two more holly leaves extending from the sides of the candle’s body, completing the holly arrangement.

Step 9: Color the Drawing
Color the large circle for the glow pale yellow, the flame orange and red, the heavy melted wax on top orange/yellow, the candle body cream/pale yellow, the holly leaves green, and the berries red.
