Step 3: Connect the bottom ends of the longer vertical lines with a horizontal rectangle to form the base of the church.

Step 4: Add two small circles inside to indicate door handles.

Step 5: Draw vertical lines extending upwards from the outer edges of the base. Add a short horizontal line connecting their tops, forming the sides of the church.

Step 6: Connect the top ends of the side walls to the ends of the roof base drawn in Step 1, completing the main roof of the church.

Step 7: Draw two short vertical lines extending upwards from the peak of the main roof.

Step 8: Add a triangle on top of the rectangle to form the tower’s roof.

Step 9: Add a cross on top of the tower’s roof.

Step 10: Draw arched windows on the church. Place one arched window on each side wall, one above the porch roof, and one on the tower.

Step 11: Color the roof of the main building and the roof of the tower in a reddish-orange color. Fill the walls of the church with a light beige or cream color. The door and the trim around the windows can be colored brown. The small steps leading to the door should be a darker shade of gray. Finally, color the interior of the windows with a light blue.

3. Step-by-Step Church Drawing Lesson for Young Artists

Step 1: Start by drawing a rectangle for the main body of the church tower.

Step 2: Add a triangle on top of the rectangle to form the roof of the tower.

Step 3: Draw a simple cross on the peak of the tower’s roof.

Step 4: From the bottom corners of the rectangle, draw two vertical lines extending downwards, and connect them with a horizontal line to form the base of the church.

Step 5: Draw a diagonal line extending upwards and outwards from the top corners of the main tower, and add a short vertical line at the end. Then, draw another diagonal line connecting the vertical line to the base. This forms the side roofs of the church. Repeat on the other side.

Step 6: Draw the main doors of the church. This version features large, arched double doors. Draw two arched shapes side by side at the bottom center of the tower, and add two small circles for door handles.

Step 7: Draw a large circle window. In this version, there’s a large circle window above the doors on the tower.

Step 8: Draw two more arched windows. Draw one on each side of the church, on the main wall, beneath the side roofs.

4. Kids’ Easy Guide to Drawing a Beautiful Church

Step 1: Begin by drawing a long, narrow rectangle to form the base of the church.

Step 2: Draw two vertical lines on top of the base rectangle. These will be the front walls of the central part of the church.

Step 3: Connect the tops of the two vertical lines with a roof shape. This roof is made of two diagonal lines meeting at a peak, with short horizontal lines at the bottom to give it thickness.

Step 4: Draw a cross on top of the roof’s peak. Also, draw two more vertical lines, one on each side of the central structure, extending upwards from the base.

Step 5: Add two smaller roof sections on each side of the main building. Draw a diagonal line and a short horizontal line to form the roof, and connect it to the vertical lines from the previous step.

Step 6: Draw the main doors. In the center of the main structure, draw two arched doors side-by-side, and add two small circles for door handles.

Step 7: Add the windows. Draw an arched window with a cross-shaped divider above the main doors. Then, draw one more arched window on each of the side sections of the church.

Step 8: Color the image. The roofs can be a reddish-orange, the walls a light beige, and the base a darker brown. The door can also be brown. The inside of the windows should be light blue, and the cross at the top can be a golden yellow.
