Step 1: Outlining the Head
Begin by drawing a large, slightly irregular circular shape to establish the basic outline for the guinea pig’s head. Leave a small opening at the bottom for the neck.

Start at the base of the head opening, on the left side. Draw a long, curved line that goes up, then loops down to create the full, rounded shape of the body and the back of the guinea pig, ending with a small, curved shape for the hind foot.
Step 4: Defining the Underbelly
Continuing from the inner side of the hind foot, add a long, gentle curved line that runs along the bottom, defining the guinea pig’s underbelly.
Step 5: Adding the Front Foot
Draw the outlines for the front right foot, positioned on the right side of the underbelly curve. It should show small toe details at the tip.
Step 6: Adding the Second Front Foot
To complete the pose, draw the outline for the other front foot, which is placed slightly to the left and behind the first one, partially hidden by the body.

Within the main body, draw several large, irregular, wavy closed curves. These will create the color patches on the guinea pig’s coat. Draw smaller, corresponding patterns near the eye and on the snout.
Step 9: Applying the Final Colors
Now, fill the patterns with color. The main large patches on the back, sides, and near the eye should be a solid orange-yellow. The rest of the body, including the face and un-patterned patches, should be a pale pinkish-beige. The ears are also this same pale color. The main part of the eye is solid black with a small white pupil spot.
Step 1: Draw the Head Shape
Start by drawing a large, rounded shape for the head. It should be slightly wider at the bottom to create a chubby cheek effect, with a small gap left open at the top left.

Step 9: Add Body Patterns
Draw decorative patches to give the guinea pig character. Place a large oval around one eye, a curved stripe across the top of the head, and a large vertical band across the middle of the body.
Step 10: Coloring the Guinea Pig
Use a warm golden-orange or light brown for the main fur. Color the eye patch and the stripe on the head in dark charcoal gray. The large band on the rear should be a creamy off-white or beige. Color the nose and the inside of the ears a soft pink. Use the same pink for the little toes on the paws. Fill the eyes with solid black, leaving a tiny white dot in each to make them look bright and shiny.

Just as you did with the front paws, use small, multi-toed curved lines to draw the rear paws at the bottom of the new hind leg and the existing body outline. Now, all four paws and the main body frame are complete.
Step 8: Drawing the Facial Features

Step 9: Drawing the Coat Pattern Patches
