Step 1: Start with the Top Curves
Draw two slightly curved, parallel horizontal lines at the top center of your canvas. These lines mark the top edge of the ribbon that will hold the medal.
Step 2: Define the Left Side of the Ribbon
Draw a long, curved shape extending down and slightly to the right from the left end of the two initial top curves. This forms the outer boundary and the left fold of the ribbon loop. A short segment is also added inside at the top to suggest the overlap.
Step 3: Complete the Ribbon Loop Shape
Draw another long, curved shape from the right end of the top curves, bringing it down to meet and cross over the left side shape. This creates a full “V-neck” loop for the ribbon, viewed from the front.
Step 4: Draw the Small Hanging Rings
Add four small, connected, semi-circular rings at the bottom intersection point where the two ribbon strands meet. These loops will connect the medal disk to the ribbon.
Step 5: Add Stripe Details to the Ribbon
Draw multiple sets of parallel lines within the main ribbon loop to create stripe divisions. These lines follow the curve of the ribbon, starting near the top and running down towards the connecting rings.
