Step 1: Draw the basic head outline.
Draw a slightly squished, cloud-like circle for the head outline.

At the top left and right of the head outline, draw two floppy, folded-over ear shapes. The left ear should curve slightly and fold inwards, while the right ear is similar but in a mirrored position.

Step 4: Draw the snout and mouth.
Draw a broad, inverted U-shaped muzzle line across the middle of the lower face, positioned below the eyes. On top of this line, draw a heart-shaped nose. From the bottom of the nose, draw two curved mouth lines that join in the middle to form a gentle smile, extending slightly up the sides of the muzzle.
Step 5: Define the front legs.
Below the head, draw two sturdy, vertically positioned front legs. Start with curves for the shoulders/outer body line and draw two lines for the inner legs. At the bottom, add small curved paw shapes with three toes each.
Step 6: Draw the body outline and tail.
From the outer edges of the head and behind the front legs, draw two large, rounded curves on both sides to define the dog’s squat, sitting body. On the left side, behind the left body curve, draw a simple, curved tail pointing upwards. Add the horizontal line at the bottom to connect the body curves behind the front legs.
Step 7: Add chest detail and paw lines.
Draw two curved, vertical lines starting from below the head, positioned between the front legs, to outline the white chest patch. Finally, draw small, short vertical lines on each front paw to define the toes.
Step 8: Finalize the lines and color the puppy.
Check all your lines to make sure the puppy looks complete, like the finished outline. Then, it’s time to color. Make the entire puppy a solid medium grey color, leaving the face and ears grey too. The heart-shaped nose should be a darker grey. The eyes should be a warm brown, with black pupils and small white highlights. Color the inner ear flap on both ears a bright pink. Color the entire belly and chest area, between the grey outline of the legs, a clean white.

In the middle of the lower face, draw a smooth heart-shaped nose. From the bottom tip of the nose, draw a short vertical line extending down that splits into two wide upward curves forming a smiling mouth across the muzzle.
Step 6: Outline the front legs and paws.
Draw two sturdy front legs extending straight down from the chest area to the ground. Curve the bottom of each leg out into rounded front paws with separate toe marks.
Step 7: Add the hind legs and tail.
On either side of the front legs, draw two rounded curves for the hind legs resting in a sitting position, complete with visible back paws at the bottom. On the right side behind the hind leg, draw a simple pointed tail pointing upward.
Step 8: Draw the chest patch and toe details.
Draw an inverted patch outline across the chest and upper belly area between the front legs. Add short vertical lines on each of the front and back paws to clearly define the individual toes.
Step 9: Finalize the line work and color the puppy.
Review the complete outline to ensure every detail is ready, then add color. Fill the main head, ears, back, legs, and tail in a smooth medium-grey shade. Make the inside flaps of the ears a soft pink, and color the eyes a warm dark brown with glossy pupils. Color the heart-shaped nose a dark grey. Fill the large chest patch on the front with bright white, and cast a light blue shadow underneath the sitting puppy.
