Today, drawing123.com will guide you how to easily draw characters from Plants vs Zombies with simple steps.
Let’s get started!

Step 1: Start with the Base Curve
Begin by drawing a simple, wide U-shape or a slight upward curve. This will form the bottom of the plant’s main body.

Step 2: Define the Body Shape
Above the initial curve, draw two opposing, slightly curved lines extending upwards from the ends of the base curve. This starts to define the tear-drop shape of Bonk Choy’s main body. A small, subtle curve inside the base line adds dimension.

Step 3: Add the Head/Cabbage Top
Draw the ruffled, cloud-like shape of the cabbage head on top of the body. Make sure the head connects to the body with a slight neck indentation on both sides.

Step 4: Detail the Head’s Ruffles
Add a few more curved lines within the head shape on both sides to give the illusion of layered, ruffled leaves. These details make the cabbage top look more realistic and volumetric.

Step 5: Draw the Left “Leg” Stalk
Draw two long, simple curved lines extending from the bottom-left side of the body. This is the start of the stalk that holds the left boxing glove.

Step 6: Draw the Left Boxing Glove/Leaf
Draw the cylindrical shape of the boxing “glove” at the end of the left stalk. It should look like a rolled-up leaf, with a small inner roll detail to show the thickness.

Step 7: Draw the Right “Leg” Stalk
Similar to Step 5, draw two long, simple curved lines extending from the bottom-right side of the body. This is the stalk for the right boxing glove.

Step 8: Draw the Right Boxing Glove/Leaf
Draw the cylindrical boxing “glove” on the right stalk, mirroring the one on the left. Include the inner roll detail for thickness.

Step 9: Add the Face Details
Draw Bonk Choy’s signature angry expression:
– Eyes: A small, slanted eye on the left and a larger, wide-open, angry eye with a pronounced eyebrow on the right.
– Mouth: A small, frowning mouth with two visible teeth/nubs at the bottom.
– Eyebrows: Use sharp, slanted lines to create an intense, aggressive expression.

Step 10: Color and Finalize
Use a light green for the main body and the top ruffles. Use a darker green for the stalks and the outer parts of the boxing gloves. Leave the background white, and you are done!

Step 1: Start with the Eyes
Draw two large, rounded circles for the eyes. Inside each eye, draw an upper curve for the upper eyelid and a smaller circle for the pupil.

Step 2: Add the Nose and Mouth
Draw two smooth, inward-curving lines below the eyes to form the nose/snout area. The lines should look like two smooth ‘S’ shapes mirrored horizontally.

Step 3: Define the Cheeks/Face
Draw a series of connected, outward-curving lines (like clouds) around the nose/mouth area to form the cheeks and the lower part of the face.

Step 4: Draw the Hat (Upper Part of the Head)
Draw a large, curved shape above the face. This shape forms the band and top of the Cattail’s iconic hat. It should curve over the top of the head.

Step 5: Add the First Ear
On the left side of the hat, draw a triangular shape for the first ear. Draw a smaller, matching triangle inside for detail. Also, add a small curving line to connect the ear to the hat/head shape.

Step 6: Add the Second Ear and Head Outline
Draw a simple triangular shape for the second ear on the right side. Draw a curved line to outline the top of the head beneath the hat’s band, connecting the two ears.

Step 7: Draw the Lower Petals
Draw three large, petal-like leaf shapes curving outwards and downwards below the face. These form the base of the plant.

Step 8: Start the Tail/Stem
On the left side, draw two parallel, curving lines extending out and up from the base petals. These lines will form the stem/base of the actual cattail stalk.

Step 9: Draw the Main Body of the Tail
Draw a long, slightly curved, rounded rectangular shape starting from the lines drawn in the previous step. This forms the thick, cylindrical body of the cattail stalk.

Step 10: Finish the Tip of the Tail
At the end of the long stalk, draw a single, pointy cone shape to finish the cattail. This is the part that acts as the missile.

Step 11: Add Texture to the Cat Tail Stalk
Draw several small, rounded circles and ovals randomly scattered across the large, cylindrical stalk you drew in the previous steps. These circles represent the texture of the mature cat tail.

Step 12: Color the Drawing
Color the cat face a light pink or lavender, the cat ears and hat band a darker pink or rose color, the lower petals and the eyebrow shapes green, the stalk of the cattail a reddish-brown or medium-brown color, the pointy tip of the stalk red. Use a darker brown/black for the eyes and the small texture circles on the stalk.

Step 1: Draw the Mouth Opening
Draw a large ‘C’ shape with two parallel lines forming the thickness of the jaws. This is the basic outline of the open mouth.

Step 2: Add the Teeth
Along the inside of the upper and lower jaws, draw sharp, zigzag lines to create the Chomper’s teeth.

Step 3: Draw the Tongue
Inside the mouth, draw two curving lines that meet at a point below the upper jaw. This forms the long, dangling tongue.

Step 4: Complete the Head Shape
Draw a large, curved line connecting the back points of the upper and lower jaws to complete the round, pac-man-like shape of the Chomper’s head.

Step 5: Add Spots
Draw several small circles and ovals randomly scattered across the head, both above and below the mouth opening. These are the Chomper’s spots/texture.

Step 6: Draw the Spikes (Dorsal Fins)
Draw several triangular and slightly curved spike shapes along the top curve of the head, starting near the back. Also, add two simple, wavy lines below the head to indicate where the stem will connect.

Step 7: Add Side Leaves
Draw two or three leaf-like spike shapes (petals) extending from the side of the head, just behind the dorsal spikes. These should overlap slightly.

Step 8: Draw the Stem
Draw two long, parallel, curving lines extending downwards from the back and bottom of the head. These form the thick, flexible stem.

Step 9: Draw the Base Leaves
At the bottom of the stem, draw a cluster of large, curving leaves forming the base of the plant, resting on the ground.

Step 10: Color the Drawing
Color the main body/head purple or magenta, the lips (rim of the mouth), the base leaves, the side leaves, and the dorsal spikes light green or chartreuse. Color the inside of the mouth dark gray or dark purple, the spots on the head a darker purple than the body. The teeth can be white or a very pale green/gray.

Step 1: Start with the Mouth/Snout
Draw a large, simple curved line, almost like a backward ‘C’, to start the rounded snout where the peas are shot from.

Step 2: Draw the Head
Draw a large circle or oval next to the snout to form the main body of the head, connecting it with a slight indent/curve.

Step 3: Add the Back Leaf
On the back of the head (opposite the snout), draw a small, curving, pointed leaf shape with some vein details.

Step 4: Draw the Eyes
Draw two sets of concentric circles on the head to create the eyes and pupils.

Step 5: Finish the Snout Opening
Inside the snout, draw a small oval or circular shape to represent the opening or barrel of the peashooter.

Step 6: Start the Stem
Draw two parallel, curving lines extending downwards from the bottom center of the head. Add a small collar-like shape where the stem meets the head.

Step 7: Draw the Base (Feet)
Draw two large, overlapping, rounded oval shapes at the base of the stem to form the plant’s ‘feet’ or resting leaves.

Step 8: Add Base Details
Draw small, simple curved shapes where the base leaves meet the stem. These add a bit of definition to the resting leaves.

Step 9: Color the Drawing
Color the entire Peashooter. Use a bright, light green for the head and stem, and a darker green for the leaves and ‘feet.’ Fill the pupils and the snout opening with black.

Step 3: Add the Eyes
Draw two sets of concentric circles on the head to create the eyes and pupils.

Step 4: Finish the Snout Opening
Inside the snout, draw a small oval or circular shape with two curved lines to represent the opening or barrel of the peashooter.

Step 5: Draw the Back Spikes (Basic Shapes)
On the back curve of the head, draw several connected, angled, sharp shapes that look like simplified crystals or spikes. These form the base outline of the icy defense.

Step 6: Add Crystal Detail
Inside the spiky shapes drawn in Step 5, add straight lines connecting the points and edges to give them a three-dimensional, faceted look, resembling crystals or ice shards.

Step 7: Start the Stem
Draw two parallel, curving lines extending downwards from the bottom center of the head. Add a small collar-like shape where the stem meets the head.

Step 8: Draw the Base Leaves
At the bottom of the stem, draw two large, overlapping, rounded oval shapes with internal dividing lines to form the plant’s ‘feet’ or resting leaves.

Step 9: Color the Drawing
Color the head a light, icy blue, the stem and base leaves green, the crystalline spikes a pale blue or white, or use subtle shading to make them look like clear ice. The pupils and snout opening should be black.

Step 1: Draw the Head Center
Start by drawing a large oval shape for the central part of the Sunflower’s head.

Step 2: Add the Petals
Around the entire oval, draw a series of connected, U-shaped curves to form the outline of the yellow petals.

Step 3: Begin the Stem
From the bottom center of the flower head, draw two short, parallel, curving lines downward. These begin the stem.

Step 4: Draw the Base Leaves
Draw two large, curving, rounded leaf shapes below the stem. These form the base leaves that sit on the ground, adding wavy detail to the edges.

Step 5: Add Stem Details
Draw small curving lines to define where the stem connects to the base leaves, and add internal line details to the leaves.

Step 6: Draw the Eyes
Inside the center oval, draw two sets of nested rectangles or elongated ovals for the eyes and pupils.

Step 7: Draw the Mouth
Draw a wide, curving line for the smile, and a small, upward curve below it for the open mouth and lower lip.

Step 8: Color the Drawing
Color the Sunflower: The center of the head is brown, the petals are yellow, and the stem and leaves are green.

Hopefully, this drawing tutorial on Plants vs Zombies will help you easily create a cute drawing.
