Step 1: Draw the Head
Start by drawing the basic outline of the squid’s body and head. It resembles a rounded trapezoid with a slightly pointed top.

Add the facial features. Draw two small circles for the eyes and a short, horizontal line for the mouth.
Step 3: Draw the Tentacles
Begin drawing the two longer tentacles extending downwards from the body.

Start drawing the two shorter arms extending outwards from the sides of the body.

Step 8: Color Your Drawing
Color the squid. The body and tentacles are light purple, the eyes are black, and the suction cups are a darker shade of purple.

Begin by drawing the main shape of the squid’s head and mantle, which resembles a rounded bell or a teardrop shape with a slightly flattened top.
Step 2: Add the Side Fins
On each side of the top part of the body, draw small, rounded triangular fins.

Color the entire squid a solid red or reddish-pink. Use a lighter shade for the inner part of the siphon/mouth area. Fill the pupils black and leave the eye highlights white.

Between and slightly below the eyes, draw a simple, curved line for the mouth, with a small dip in the center to suggest an open mouth or a smile.
