Today, drawing123.com will guide you how to easily draw a Velociraptor with simple steps.
Let’s get started!
Step 1: Start by drawing a long, curved line that will form the top of the dinosaur’s body, back, and head.
Step 2: Draw a slightly shorter curved line underneath the head to create the upper jaw of the mouth.
Step 3: Now, draw another short curved line below the last one to form the lower jaw.
Step 4: To create the body, draw a long curved line extending from the back of the head. Then, draw another long, curved line for the tail.
Step 5: Draw two short, curved lines coming down from the body to form the arms. At the end of these lines, draw three small, pointed shapes for the claws on each hand.
Step 6: Draw a curved line bellow the body for the belly.
Step 7: Draw another curved line from the body for the thigh and a short line down from that for the leg. Then, draw three pointed toes with claws on the end of the foot.
Step 8: Draw the other leg behind the first one, using curved lines for the thigh and leg. Draw two more pointed claws on this foot.
Step 9: Inside the head, draw a circle with a smaller circle inside it for the eye.
Step 10: Add a series of small, sharp triangles along the inside of the upper and lower jaws to create the teeth.
Step 11: Fill in the body, tail, head, and legs of the Velociraptor with a bright green color. Leave the eyes, teeth, and claws white.
Step 1: Begin by drawing a smooth, curved shape for the top of the dinosaur’s head.
Step 2: Underneath that, draw another curved line to create the snout and jaw.
Step 3: Add a small curved line on top of the head for the eye ridge.
Step 4: Now, draw a long, flowing line that starts at the top of the head and curves to form the back and tail.

Step 10: Draw a large, curved shape for the dinosaur’s left leg and foot. Add three sharp, pointed claws at the bottom.
Step 11: Draw a curved line to define the thigh and then another set of curved lines for the lower leg and foot. Don’t forget the sharp claws at the end of the foot!
Step 12: Time to add some facial details. Draw a large circle for the eye, and inside it, add a smaller circle for the pupil. Above the snout, draw a small, curved line for the nostril.
Step 13: Color the majority of the dinosaur’s body, including the head, neck, back, tail, and most of its legs and arms, with a vibrant blue. For the belly and the front of the neck, use a slightly lighter shade of blue to add some contrast and depth. Color the tips of the claws on both the hands and feet with a light gray or off-white color.

Step 10: Draw a line to complete the top of the tail, creating a pointed tip.
Step 11: Let’s add the facial details. Draw a large circle inside the head for the eye, and a smaller circle within it for the pupil. Add a small line for the nostril and a few short triangles inside the mouth to create the teeth and a curved shape for the tongue.
Step 12: Color the main body, head, legs, and tail a vibrant green. Color the belly and the front of the neck with a lighter shade of yellowish-tan. The inside of the mouth and the tongue can be a light pink or red. For the eyes, leave the larger circle white and color the pupil black. Finally, color the claws on both the hands and feet with a brown or tan color.
Step 1: Start by drawing the velociraptor’s head. It should be a large, rounded shape with a slight indent for the eye.
Step 2: Add a wavy line for the bottom jaw and another curved line inside the head to define the mouth.

Step 7: Draw the powerful back legs and feet. Make sure the thighs are thick and the feet have sharp, pointed claws, especially the sickle-shaped claw on the inner toe.
Step 8: Complete the outline by drawing the underside of the tail, connecting the body to the end of the tail line you drew in Step 3.
Step 9: Add the facial details. Draw a large oval for the eye and a smaller, pointed circle inside it for the pupil. Add a small nostril near the front of the snout.
Step 10: Finally, add some texture and detail to the body. Draw a series of wavy lines with small circles on the back to represent scales or markings.
Step 11: Fill the main body of the velociraptor with a light blue or teal color. Step 10: Draw the second, slightly smaller front arm and hand behind the first one to complete the pair of arms.
Step 11: Draw two curved lines under the front arm to define the body and chest.
Step 12: Draw the first back leg with the foot and three claws. The foot should have a large, pointed claw on the inner toe.
Step 13: Draw the second back leg, placing it behind the first one, with a foot and claws.
Step 14: Complete the tail by drawing a long, curved line that connects from the back of the legs to the end of the first tail line.
Step 15: Add patterns to the body. Draw a series of wavy shapes and circles on the neck, back, and tail to create a cool design.
Step 16: Now you can color your velociraptor! For the main body, use a light blue color. Fill in the patterns you just drew with a bright orange. The belly should be a light tan or cream color. Use a yellow for the eye with a black pupil, and a light gray for the claws and the inside of the mouth.

Step 9: Draw the first back leg. It should be thick and muscular with a large foot and three pointed claws, one of which is a prominent sickle claw.
Step 10: Draw the second back leg and foot, placing it behind the first one.
Step 11: Connect the legs to the tail by drawing a curved line from the back of the legs to the end of the tail, completing the outline of the body.
Step 12: Add the facial details. Draw a large oval for the eye with a smaller oval inside for the pupil. Add a small nostril on the snout.
Step 13: Draw several small circles and blobs of various shapes on the back and torso. These will be the spots or markings.
Step 14: Now you can color in your drawing! Fill the main body with a light brown color. Use a darker shade of brown for the spots and a light gray or off-white for the claws and the bottom of the feet. Finally, color the eye yellow with a black pupil.
